Acai Berry Fruit

Acai berry powder is freeze dried acai, pronounced (ah-sigh-EE). Freeze drying is a process where moisture is removed from the fruit by bringing it below -20 degrees celsius; as there is no heat used in this process, 100% of all the fruit nutritional value is retained. Acai is a palm berry indigenous to the Brazilian rain forest and is considered to have the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food.
